Educators can add up to 10 more educators to a class team. Each additional educator will have the same permissions to:

  • Set team members' permissions for channels and conversations

  • Control @[team name] mentions that will notify everyone on the team

  • Allow @channel or @[channel name] mentions, which will notify members who have favorited the channel

  • Allow use of stickers

  1. Navigate to the class team you’d like to add an educator to.

  2. Select More options  More options button next to your class team, then select Add member.

  3. Type in the educator's name or email find them.

  4. By default, they will be tagged as a Member. Change this by choosing the dropdown menu beside their name to make them an Owner.

  5. Select Add

  6. The educator is immediately added to the class team as an owner. Select Close to return to Teams.
