This article is for people who use a screen reader program such as Windows Narrator, JAWS, or NVDA with Microsoft 365 products. This article is part of the Microsoft 365 screen reader support content set where you can find more accessibility information on our apps. For general help, visit Microsoft Support.

Microsoft Loop is an inclusive collaboration platform which allows users to bring together information, conversations, and content from various Microsoft 365 apps into a shared workspace.

This article explains how to use Microsoft Loop with your keyboard and a screen reader. You will learn how to create new workspaces and pages, add members to workspaces, and collaborate on content.

Notes:

  • New Microsoft 365 features are released gradually to Microsoft 365 subscribers, so your app might not have these features yet. To learn how you can get new features faster, join the Microsoft 365 Insider program.

  • To learn more about screen readers, go to How screen readers work with Microsoft 365.

  • Freedom Scientific is actively working to resolve issues within the overall Loop editing experience for the JAWS update that is planned for release in early March 2024. If problems with JAWS are preventing you from getting work done with Loop, please reach out to Freedom Scientific support to discuss potential options for getting early access to a JAWS build that may resolve the issues.

  • When you use Microsoft Loop for the web, we recommend that you use Microsoft Edge as your web browser. When Microsoft Loop for the web runs in your web browser, the keyboard shortcuts are different from those in the desktop application. For example, you can use Ctrl+F6 instead of F6 (jumping in and out of the commands). Also, common shortcuts like F1 (Help) and Ctrl+O (Open) apply to the web browser, and not to Microsoft Loop for the web.
