When you apply the hotfix package that is described in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article 2299018 and then open a workbook that contains many charts in Excel 2007, Excel 2007 stops responding.

Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
