Symptoms

Mobile devices cannot connect to Exchange Server 2013 by using ActiveSync. Additionally, they cannot sync email at random intervals. In this situation, you receive the following error message:

We're having problem connecting to< server name>. contact a support person or your service providerĀ Error Code: 86000C09

Resolution

To resolve this issue, installĀ Cumulative Update 10 for Exchange Server 2013.
