Symptoms

You connect a Windows Embedded CE 6.0-based device to a wireless local area network (WLAN). The device obtains an IP address successfully. When you suspend and then resume the device, the reconnection to the WLAN fails, and the device cannot obtain an IP address again.

Cause

This problem occurs because a thread in the WZCSVC.dll file exits too early. Therefore, new media indications, such as the MEDIA_CONNECT indication, cannot be signaled to the Wireless Zero Configuration service.
