Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You use the HTTP receive adapter in Microsoft BizTalk Server.

  • You set the Suspend Failed Request option for this adapter to True.

In this scenario, when a receive pipeline failure occurs, you may find that the HTTP receive adapter does not suspend messages as expected and never responds to the client side. Therefore, the client has to wait until the HTTP time-out occurs.

The fix for this issue is included in Cumulative Update 3 for BizTalk Server 2013.
