Euphemia is a typeface designed for setting the First Nations languages that use the Unified Canadian Syllabics script, including Cree, Inuktitut, and the historical Carrier/Dakelh script (dulkw’ahke). It is a straightforward, sans serif design that can be used for both body text and titles or headlines. It has only one weight and one style.

Euphemia includes a full set of the letters of the Latin alphabet, in capitals and lowercase, which can be combined with the syllabic characters in multilingual typesetting. The default space between words may appear very wide in the Latin alphabet, because a wide word space is required for typesetting syllabics.
