How to add content and agents to Copilot Chat

When you create prompts in Copilot Chat, you can add content or incorporate agents to get more specific and detailed results from Copilot. You also ask questions about the added content to Copilot Chat, including questions about uploaded images.
Note:Â If you don't have a Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription, there are some limitations to adding content and using agents in Copilot Chat. To learn about those limitations, see How Copilot Chat works with and without a Microsoft 365 Copilot license.
Add content and agents to Copilot Chat
To add content and agents to your prompts in Copilot Chat, complete the following steps:

In your web browser, go to Copilot Chat and sign in with your Microsoft 365 work or school account.

In the Message Copilot compose box, select
 Add content and agents to open the tools menu. -
From the menu, select:

Add work content to open the Context IQ menu to find and select work content.-

Upload images and files to open your device's file app and select files to upload to Copilot Chat.-
You can upload multiple images and files to Copilot Chat from your device.

Attach cloud files to open the OneDrive file picker and select files located in your OneDrive.-
You can select your own OneDrive files, files shared with you, and files shared in Teams meetings.

Chat with an agent to open the agent dropdown menu and select an agent to @mention in your Chat prompt, like Researcher or Analyst.-
