Install Office on a phone or tablet

To install Office on a phone or tablet, see Set up Office apps and email on a mobile device.

No install option?

If after clicking the Install Office button, instead of an install option you see a message to Go premium, it means the Microsoft account you're currently signed in with isn't the one associated with the desktop version of Office. Try the following:

  • Sign out and then sign back in with the correct account at office.com.

  • If you know you're eligible to install Office, but you're not sure you have an account or can't remember your account, go here for additional help.

  • You don't own Office 2016, Office 2013, or Microsoft 365, but you'd like to use Office now. Use the Office apps online.
