Symptoms
Assume that you use Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or SQL Server 2014 transactional replication. You try to add subscriptions with @sync_type specified as 'replication support only', 'initialize with backup', or 'initialize from lsn' for publication, and the publication id is greater than 99. In this situation, you receive the following error message:
Msg 8115, Level 16, State 2, Procedure sp_MSsetupnosyncsubscriptionwithlsn, Line 237Arithmetic overflow error converting expression to data type nvarchar.
Resolution
Cumulative Update information
The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
Each new cumulative update for SQL Server contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous cumulative update. Check out the latest cumulative updates for SQL Server:
