Symptoms
When you process data in a Tabular instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Analysis Services, the process crashes or stops responding (hangs) intermittently.
Resolution
This fix for this issue is included in Cumulative Update 2 for SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 1.
Each new build for SQL Server 2016 contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous build. We recommend that you install the latest build for SQL Server 2016.
