To create a new assignment, select the Assignments tab in your class team’s General channel. Select New Assignment. Choose a title and add any other optional details, then select Assign.

To save an assignment as a draft, select Save as draft after you've created the new assignment.. You’ll need to add a title before saving. 

Select the Assignments tab from the side panel to view all your assignments across multiple classes.  Assignment cards appear in order of due date, Mon-Fri. Assignments you’ve saved as drafts appear here, too.

To view assignments within a class, select the Assignments tab in your class team’s General channel. By default, you will see the Week view. Select Review to grade assignments.

To edit an assignment, navigate to the Assignments tab in the General channel. Select Week and then the assignment you'd like to edit. Select Edit, make your changes, then select Update.

You can edit an assignment even after you’ve assigned it to students.

To delete an assignment, navigate to the Assignments tab in the General channel. Select Week and then the assignment you'd like to delete. Select Delete, then select Yes.

Navigate to a class team and select the General channel. Select Assignments > Review. Choose the assignment you’d like to review, enter feedback and scores, then select Post. This will notify students that their assignment has been reviewed and scored.

To review an assignment with no point value, navigate to your class and select General >Assignments. Select Review, then the assignment card. Select a document under Student work to open any attached work. Select a box under Feedback to add comments. When you’re finished, select Post All. Your students’ assignment cards will update to show their turn-ins have been recorded.

To open your student's work in full-screen mode, navigate to the General channel in your class and select the Assignments tab. Select Review, then a document under Student work. Use the arrows to either side of your students’ names to move from one document to the next.

Optional: Add feedback, scores, or select Edit to open the document in Word, PowerPoint, or Excel. Select Close to exit full-screen view. Feedback will not be posted to students unless you select Post.
