Symptoms

Assume that you open an instant message (IM) window in Microsoft Skype for Business 2016. When you type Japanese or Chinese texts in this IM window over two lines, only the second line shows and the first line is hidden.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the February 7, 2017, update (KB3141501) for Skype for Business 2016.
