INTRODUCTION
This article describes the October 2010 update for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. This update includes server-side fixes and client-side fixes. The server-side fixes are installed automatically by the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online team. Additionally, the Smart Matching fix that is listed in the "More Information" section can be implemented upon request.

Issues that are fixed in the October 2010 update
Server-side fixes
The October 2010 update includes the following server-side fixes that were not previously documented:

When you create an opportunity from a marketing list, you cannot set a price list.

You cannot create more than 5,000 records for a quick campaign.

After you delete a contact or an account that is used as the recipient in a phone call activity, the information from the phone call activity is no longer available. Additionally, when you try to open the phone call activity, you receive the following error:
An unhandled exeption occurred during the execution of the current web request.

Assume that you run the Beta version of Internet Explorer 9. When you run the Print Preview function, you cannot select the All records on all pages option in the Print List dialog box.

Assume that you use the Edit Report feature. When you try to save changes of a report, you receive the following error message:
Reporting Services reports cannot be uploaded.

Assume that you have multiple picklists that are created by using the similar names. When you try to use the picklist items to sort a view that contains the picklist items, you receive the following error message:
An error occurred.

Assume that you run the Beta version of Internet Explorer 9. When you try to create an account, you receive a script error.
Client-side fixes
The October 2010 update includes the following client-side fixes that were not previously documented:

The task reminder time is overwritten in Microsoft Outlook unexpectedly when you change a task in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online.

The buttons and the menus that are configured by using the Isv.config configuration file do not appear on the Microsoft Office 2010 ribbon after you install Update Rollup 11 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.

Fixes for the Beta version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011
The October 2010 update includes the following fixes that were not previously documented for the Beta version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011:

You receive a script error message when you try to display the resource center.

You experience slow performance when you try to import lots of solutions. Additionally, you receive a time-out error message.

When you import solutions from an organization to another organization, the import process cannot be finished because the identifier (ID) of the account entity is missing.
