INTRODUCTION
This article describes that the Staff Accounting update is available in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with the Eastern Europe GLS layer installed. The new functionality covers the legislative changes in the average earning (AE) calculation for maternity leaves and the legislative changes in the P-4 and 3-F regulatory statistical forms.
More Information
According to the Russian federal law № 276-FZ from December 29, 2012, the following new legislative requirements about changes in the maternity leaves calculation are effective from January 01, 2013:
The maximum daily limit for the AE amount is introduced. The value of the maximum daily limit is calculated as the sum of the social insurance fund’s yearly limits (for two previous calendar years) divided by 730.To comply with the requirements, the user's guide for the system configuration is updated.According to the Russian federal statistics service's order № 407 from July 24, 2012, the layouts of some regulatory statistical forms are updated. The changes are effective from January 01, 2013.To comply with the requirements, the following features are updated:

The data on the employees quantity and wages is updated in the P-4 statistical form.

The data on the arrears of wages is updated in the 3-F statistical form.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.Note The XXXXXX placeholder represents the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
