What happened with Phone plugin? Why is it no longer available?  

Phone Plugin is currently disabled due to the latest Copilot update and is expected to be available again in early 2025. We will update this support content as soon as the feature is restored.  

Do I need to take any steps to ensure the feature is properly removed and that my phone no longer appears? 

No action is required on your part, as Phone Plugin had to be enabled manually each time you wanted to access it in Copilot. Since the feature is now disabled, it will no longer appear in Copilot, and the option to enable it has been removed.

Are there any known issues after this feature removal? 

There are no known issues at this time. However, if you're experiencing any problems, please send us feedback directly from your mobile device by navigating to Link to Windows > Settings > Send us feedback. Alternatively, you can contact our support team via email at phonepluginfb@microsoft.com
