How to reset a Clipchamp account password

Applies To
Clipchamp for personal accounts

Note

This article applies to Clipchamp for personal accounts. For work or school accounts, follow Microsoft's work or school password recovery guidance if your organization lets you reset your own password. If you can't use this option, contact your IT team.

Choose the recovery option that matches how you sign in to Clipchamp.

Important

The old in-app Forgot password process for a separate Clipchamp password is no longer available. Instead, follow the recovery steps for older Clipchamp accounts.

Reset a Microsoft account password

To reset the password for the personal Microsoft account you use with Clipchamp, follow the steps in Reset a forgotten Microsoft account password. After verifying your identity and setting a new password, sign in to Clipchamp with the same account.

If you know your current password and want to change it, see Change your Microsoft account password.

Recover access to an older Clipchamp account

If you used a separate Clipchamp password and Continue with email is available, follow the Magic Link sign-in steps to recover access through your email address. That guide also explains what to do if a link is missing or expired.

The email contains a sign-in link, not a password reset link. Clipchamp might then ask you to connect or sign in with a personal Microsoft account.

If Continue with email isn't available, use the personal Microsoft account already connected to Clipchamp. For help finding or connecting the correct account, see Access your existing Clipchamp account.

Still need help?

If you can't verify your Microsoft account, use the help options in Reset a forgotten Microsoft account password. For help accessing an existing Clipchamp account, contact Clipchamp Support.
