Change the direction of text

1. Select the text box or shape, then select Home >   Text Direction.

2. Choose the direction you want—horizontal, rotated, or stacked.

In PowerPoint for the web, a text box can rotate on its center point, but letters can't be stacked vertically or reversed. The desktop versions of PowerPoint can do these things.

1. Select the text box or shape you want to rotate.

2. Click and drag the rotation handle  in the direction you want to rotate the text.
