Change the direction of text

In PowerPoint for the web, an object can rotate on its center point, but it can't be flipped on an axis. That means upright text in a box rotated 180 degrees will be turned upside down, rather than being reversed and still right-side up. The desktop versions of PowerPointcan flip an object on its axis.

  1. Select the text box or shape you want to rotate.

  2. Click and drag the rotation handle Rotation handle in the direction you want to rotate the text.
