Whiteboard offers different features based on whether or not your MTR is connected to a touchscreen device.
Using whiteboard on a touchscreen device
Currently, you cannot share a whiteboard while using Microsoft Teams on a touchscreen device. Another participant in the meeting must first share the whiteboard.
Once a whiteboard is shared to the touch screen, you can use all common features. To learn more, see Whiteboard features and functionality.
Note: Currently, this functionality only applies to Android-based MTR devices. We are working to expand functionality to Windows-based MTR devices.
Using whiteboard on a non-touchscreen device
If your MTR device is connected to a standard screen or projector, you will be able to view but not interact with a whiteboard. Currently, this functionality is limited but we are bringing improvements in the near future.
