Stay connected with desktop notifications for Viva Engage—pop-up notifications sent to you when someone @ mentions you in a conversation or announcement.
You can turn this setting on or off at any time from either engage.cloud.microsoft or the new installable Viva Engage desktop app.
Note: Desktop notifications are available in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.
To enable notifications from the Viva Engage desktop app

Select the Settings icon in the upper right of your screen.

Select Manage desktop notifications.

Choose Manage desktop notifications. In the dialog box that appears, Send me desktop notifications will be selected.

Ensure that you have allowed notifications for this site on your browser by navigating to the Settings and more … menu in the upper right corner, and then click on App info.

Select the option to allow notifications.
Enable desktop notifications from Viva Engage on the web

Select the Settings icon in the upper right of your screen.

Select Manage desktop notifications.

Choose Manage desktop notifications. In the dialog box that appears, Send me desktop notifications will be selected.

Ensure that you have allowed notifications for this site on your browser by selecting the Lock icon in the browser bar. Then, select the option to allow notifications.

If you want to stop receiving notifications later, you can return to this setting, and turn off Manage desktop notifications.
