You can navigate to a shared folder either in the Launchbar or in your Windows file system.
Navigating to a shared folder in the Launchbar
To navigate to a shared folder in the launchbar, double-click it in the Workspaces pane.
Tip: You can group shared folders together in the Launchbar by sorting the workspace list by Type: Click the View tab in the Launchbar, then click Type in the Workspace drop-down menu.
If you are navigating for the first time to a shared folder you received by invitation, you are prompted to select or create a folder to be synchronized, and to specify initial download settings (automatic or manual).
Navigating to a shared folder in your Windows file system
If your operating system is Windows XP, you can click the shared folder in your Windows file system, and then click the Folder Sync button in your Windows toolbar to display the Shared Folder toolbar.
If your operating system is Windows Vista, you can click the shared folder, click the View menu, click Explorer Bar, and then click SharePoint Workspace Folder Synchronization. This opens the Shared Folder toolbar.
A SharePoint Workspace icon overlays the folder to indicate that it is a shared folder. You can also right-click any shared folder in your Windows file system to see command options.
