Microsoft Teams released a new Teams app to replace the original one in the Xiaomi GetApps store. The new app will fix a known issue where customers run into an error that prevents them from updating their Teams app.
If you originally downloaded the Teams app from the Xiaomi GetApps store, or a third-party site (like APKMirror, Aptoide, etc.), it will not update correctly, and you will need to delete the app and download the new Teams app to continue receiving the latest feature and bug updates.
To make sure you have the correct app, uninstall the existing Teams app from your device, then search for Teams in the app store. Look for the Teams app with the new badge on it and download it. You’ll sign in and the app will be ready to go. You’ll be able receive updates and have a smoother Teams experience.
