Moving a task that is constrained by a date
The task that you're moving is constrained so that its start or finish is tied to a specific date. At some earlier time, you indicated that this task's start or finish was linked to the date. Moving the task will remove the constraint. If this constraint date still determines the task's start or finish, cancel the move with the Planning Wizard.
Note: Go to Set a task start or finish date (constraint) for a task for additional information.
Using the Planning Wizard, you can:
Cancel the move and keep the constraint.
Microsoft Project will not move the task. The task's start or finish remains tied to the constraint date.
Move the task and remove the constraint.
Project will move the task as you have specified and remove the constraint. Project will then adjust the task's start and finish dates automatically to reflect changes in your schedule and dependencies with other tasks.
If you don't want the Planning Wizard to display this information again, select the Don't tell me about this again check box.
