Introduction
A country-specific update is available for India to make the electronic report compliant with the File validation utility (FVU) version 4.5 tool in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.

To make Dynamics AX TDS/TCS returns compliant with this new change, following update is done:
On Vendor/Customer master setup, on the Tax details tab, if the PAN status is Not Available, Applied or Invalid, the "Reference number" field is enabled for user to enter the reference number needed in this case by the FVU 4.5 tool.

You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 CU7 installed to apply this hotfix.
Restart requirement
You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
