INTRODUCTION

This article describes a country-specific update that is available for Retail loyalty programs in Russia in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.

More Information

This hotfix supports the following Russian requirements:

  • Process loyalty points redemption as a price discount in a retail transaction, in the tax calculation and in accounting

    Loyalty points redemption is considered as providing discounted goods or services in Russia. This requires specific processing of loyalty transactions on POS (tax calculation, printing fiscal receipt) and in HQ (posting sales, discount and tax).

    The processing as a price discount can be enabled by adding of a new line with type Loyalty points discount to the loyalty scheme.

    New Redeem loyalty points POS command is applying a price discount for loyalty points to the retail transaction. Tax base and revenue is reduced by loyalty points discount.

  • Automatic calculation of refund loyalty in the return transaction points proportionally to the price of the returned items

    It is a common rule for Russian retailers to refund points proportionally to the price of returned items. New functionality automatically calculates refund points in case loyalty points redemption as a price discount that is used in original retail transaction.

    You can select the Automatically calculate refund points check box in the Retail parameters to enable the functionality.

  • Support for cumulative discount with percent that depends on previous completed purchases (For example: $0 - 3%, $1000 and more - 5%, $2000 and more - 7%)

    Cumulative discount can be configured by using the new parameters of the Retail periodic discount:

    • Loyalty card required: Indicates whether the discount must be verified with a loyalty card.

    • Scheme ID: Select the loyalty card scheme to use to verify the discount.

    • Minimum points: The minimum number of loyalty points that are required to qualify for the discount.

    • Maximum points: The maximum number of loyalty points that can qualify for the discount.

    You can make a quick overview of the cumulative discounts that are configured for the loyalty scheme by using the new Discounts tabs for the current scheme and for all schemes on the loyalty scheme form.

    Cashier should add a loyalty card to the retail transaction on POS in order to apply a cumulative discount. POS will automatically grant a cumulative discount according to the loyalty scheme and the loyalty card balance.

  • Ability to adjust loyalty points balance manually in HQ

    New functionality allows creating a loyalty transaction in HQ by using the New button on the following forms:

    • Loyalty point transactions (Retail\ Common\ Loyalty\ Loyalty customers\ Inquiries\ Loyalty card transactions)

    • Loyalty cards, Tab History (Retail\ Inquiry\ Loyalty cards)

    You can also transfer active loyalty points for the expiration date from the blocked loyalty card to the active card by using new command Transfer balance under the Functions group on the following forms:

    • Loyalty cards (Retail\ Inquiry\ Loyalty cards)

    • Loyalty customers, tab Lines (Retail\ Common\ Loyalty\ Loyalty customers)

    Functionality is controlled by the new permission Create loyalty transaction manually.

Prerequisites

You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 installed to apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

File information

The Hindi version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
