Bing aims to make searching comfortable for everyone. If you use assistive technologies, you can count on helpful navigation tools and display options that make it easier to browse and find what you need.

Turn Light or Dark Mode on or off

Bing lets you choose between light and dark display styles so you can use the one that feels best for your eyes. To change your appearance settings:

  1. Open Settings and Quick Links in the top-right corner of the page (the hamburger menu).

  2. Go to the Appearance section.

  3. Choose Light, Dark, or System default.

Quick Navigation for Screen Reader Users

Landmarks

Bing’s pages are organized using clear landmarks that help you move quickly between major sections. These landmarks make it easier for people using screen readers—and anyone who benefits from structured layouts—to understand the page and jump to the area they want. Examples include Navigation, Search, Main, Footer, and Complementary landmarks.

Headings

Bing uses meaningful headings to show how information is organized. This helps screen reader users and sighted users alike follow the structure of the page and find the content they’re looking for.

Keyboard Navigation Support

Bing includes quick navigation links at the top of the page for people who prefer using a keyboard.

  • Press Tab to move through the available links.

  • Press Enter to choose one.

This link takes you straight to the first main section of the page, helping you get where you want to go without extra keystrokes.

Accessibility Feedback

This option opens the Bing Feedback dialog, where you can share your experiences and suggestions about Bing’s accessibility features.
