INTRODUCTION

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

Consider the following scenario:

  • You install Microsoft Office Web Components on a computer that has Office Excel 2007 installed.

  • You create a pivot table in Office Excel 2007.

  • You publish the pivot table as an HTML file.

  • You view the HTML file through your browser.

In this scenario, the pivot table does not display. Additionally, you receive the following error message:

The query could not be processed: The data provider didn't supply any further error information.

Resolution

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
