Symptoms
This issue occurs when you relog in to Microsoft Lync 2013 (Microsoft Skype for Business) by manually selecting another status through the Sign in as drop-down menu. When this issue occurs, the client logs in as the previous presence instead of the one that you select from the drop-down menu.
Resolution
To fix this issue, install the June 7, 2016, update (KB3115033) for Lync 2013 (Skype for Business).Note Lync 2013 was upgraded to Skype for Business in April 2015.
