Applies ToHost Integration Server 2013 Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010

Symptoms

Assume that you have a computer on which an instance of Microsoft Host Integration Server is running for a long time. In this situation, Event 684 is logged in the Application log. This event indicates a possible memory leak in header and element allocations that is causing an increasing number of elements and headers to be consumed by the SNABASE service.

Cause

This issue occurs if I/O processing is not synchronized correctly.
