Introduction

This article describes a hotfix that corrects several problems in Microsoft Retail Chain Manager R2 for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. The build number of this hotfix rollup isĀ 5.0.1507.56. This hotfix fixes the following issues:

Issue 1

When you create an infocode in a specific company account, the infocode is sent to active stores in all company accounts instead of the specific company account.

This hotfix affects the following object:

  • \Tables\RCMCampaignStores

Issue 2

When a promotion is created forĀ specific stores, the promotion is sent to active stores in all company accounts instead of the specific stores.This hotfix affects the following objects:

  • \Tables\RCMCampaignStores

  • \Classes\RCMCampaignValidateConfirm

  • \Classes\RCMLogChange_StoreSpecific

  • \Forms\RCMAdvDiscTable

Issue 3

When an item that is marked for scrap is returned, the item is added to the Microsoft Retail Chain Manager stock correctly. However, when you run the "Update on hand" job, the item is notĀ scrapped as expected.This hotfix affects the following objects:

  • \Classes\RCMPOSSalesOnHandUpdate

Issue 4

When you haveĀ two or moreĀ customer payment lines in a ledger journal that is created based on a retail journal, the second payment line is not initialized as expected.This hotfix affects the following objects:

  • \Classes\RCMCreateLedgerJournal

Issue 5

When you post a counting journal in which a line has zero difference, an error occurs.This hotfix affects the following objects:

  • \Classes\RCMSupInventoryPost

Issue 6

When you de-select several stores at the same time in the store selection form, an error occurs.This hotfix affects the following objects:

  • \Classes\RCMSysListPanel_LoggedTables

  • \Classes\RCMSysListPanel_Stores

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix rollup.

Important

To avoid a synchronization error, complete the following steps after installing the hotfix:

  • Before running the synchronization: In the Table Browser, locate the table AppSummarySetup and delete all records.

  • After running the synchronization: Run the Setup Wizard using the default values. To run the wizard, click RCM Menu > Setup > Setup wizard.

Validation of the rollup installation

To validate the installation of the rollup, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the AOT. Then, verify that there is a method name that contains the KB article number of the installed rollup. Additionally, you can crosscheck the kernel version against the build version that is mentioned in the rollup. To obtain the kernel version, click Help, and then click About Microsoft Dynamics AX.
