Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a Reporting Services report in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or SQL Server 2014.

  • The report uses the tablix column header sorting option.

  • You view the report on a website.

  • You check the HTML source for the webpage.

In this scenario, you find that the tablix column header sorting button images do not contain a text equivalent. For example, the images do not contain a tool tip, ALT text, or TITLE text. This behavior results in Section 508 noncompliance.
