Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You have Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 or SQL Server 2012 installed on a computer.

You mark one or more computed columns as "persisted."
-
You run a DBCC CHECKDB against the table with these columns.
In this scenario, an access violation occurs.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
