Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a report in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Reporting Services.

  • You configure Reporting Services to use a secure (https/SSL) connection.

  • You open the Reporting Services web portal or a report in a browser.

In this scenario, you receive a warning message that is similar to the following:

Only secure content is displayedWhen this issue occurs, a message may be logged in the browser console as follows, depending on the browser that you use:

  • Microsoft Edge

    SEC7111: HTTPS security is compromised

  • Google Chrome

    Blocked loading mixed active content

  • Mozilla Firefox

    Mixed content

Resolution

This problem is fixed in the following update for SQL Server:

3207512 Important update for SQL Server 2016 SP1 Reporting Services

Status
