Symptoms
Assume that you connect to Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Analysis Services (SSAS 2016). When you perform lots of write operations in a short period, many txn####.vmp (transactional version map files) files are created. This may cause the operations taking a long time to finish. Additionally, error messages that contain event ID 0x411E0014 are logged in the msmdsrv.log file.

Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
