Symptoms
Assume that you use the Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and 2017 Analysis Services (SSAS) Multidimensional model. When you run an MDX query, you may notice that SSAS stops responding.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative updates for SQL Server:
