Outlook 2016 People Pane doesn't show any results after Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

ISSUE

After updating to the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (Version 1709) the Outlook People Pane no longer shows any results and you may see this error message:

• There are no items to show in this view.

STATUS: FIXED

This issue is now fixed and available in Windows Update (Version 1803). To ensure you have the latest Windows version, go to Windows Settings, open the Update & Security window, and click on Check for updates.
