Performance Improvements

The following list details issues whose resolutions improve the speed or functionality of Dynamics.

  • SQL deadlocks occur with external integrations due to indexing issue

  • Under the context of double-byte languages, files downloaded via Portals have unintelligible filenames

  • Error messages are displayed in English on non-English Portals

  • Adding a new SSL Certificate to a Portal results in a perpetual loading screen

  • Mailboxes postpone indefinitely when SQL timeout occurs

Unexpected Behavior

The following list details issues whose resolutions correct actions performed in Dynamics that do not work as intended.

  • Empty sub-grids show incorrect display name properties

  • Inconsistency in calculating the available capacity between hourly and daily in Schedule Board

  • Marketing Lists loses the Add Members "+" button when page is refreshed

  • Redundant relationships are created for the lookup attribute regardingobjectid in Campaign Response

  • Duplicate contacts on Marketing List membership causes contact removal to fail

  • Setting field as required using a Business Rule changes value of "date only" field on Unified form

  • Two Option attributes display in red text for read-only forms

  • Quick View Forms show "UNKNOWN COMPONENT" for empty sections

  • Extra decimals are displayed in the Currency field on editable grid

  • Scheduling snapshot start time displays incorrect estimated travel time

  • Deleting records from editable grids closes the current window

  • Under certain conditions, users are able to see dashboards and forms when not enabled in the Security Roles assigned

  • There is no "X" button to clear the search field in the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook

  • Products in a sub-grid of another entity are not translated properly

  • Provisioning a Portal fails for organizations with certain special characters in the organization name

  • Portals installation fails for Office 365 administrators without a Dynamics 365 license

  • Custom success messages for Entity form customizations do not display properly

  • Unable to change Dynamics instance for trial Portals

  • Associating a custom entity with the Article entity in a N:N relationship causes record creation to fail

  • Changes are not propagated to Contract entity records upon linked Project updates

  • Pagination does not work properly on Active Speakers view in Marketing App

  • Users are unable to sort Knowledge Articles

  • Resource sheets do not automatically refresh when changes are made

  • Lookup filter conditions do not clear when dependent fields are removed
