Applies ToWindows Embedded Compact 2013

An update rollup is available for Windows Embedded Compact 2013. This rollup resolves the security issues that are described in the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

  • 2862152 Microsoft security advisory: Vulnerability in IPsec could allow security feature bypassNotes

    • In desktop operating systems, the following registry subkey is used to set parameters for certificate authentication:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\IKEEXT\Parameters\IPsecTunnelConfig\IKEV1\Cert Exception: In Windows Embedded Compact 2013, the registry entry is located in the following path:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\IKEEXT\ Parameters\IPsecTunnelConfig\IKEV1\Cert
