Symptoms
You set a video to play across slides in Microsoft PowerPoint. When you play the video during a slide show, the video displays over other shapes. Additionally, any trim or effect that is applied to the video is not used during playback.
Workaround
To work around the trim issue, insert the video on each slide. Then, trim the video appropriately on each slide.
