Symptoms

When you try to save a new file in Microsoft Office Word 2007, the file is not saved. Additionally, you receive an error message that states that you do not have sufficient rights to perform the operation.

Cause

This issue may occur if you are using an incompatible version of Hewlett-Packard Credential Manager for ProtectTools. For example, this issue is known to occur with version 1.00D of Hewlett-Packard Credential Manager for ProtectTools.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, update the version of Hewlett-Packard Credential Manager for ProtectTools that is installed on the computer to version 1.00J or a later version of this program.
