Organize your ideas in Whiteboard with Copilot for Microsoft 365

A team of designers is working on a website redesign for their client. They have a brainstorming session and use Whiteboard to record their ideas as sticky notes. After the session, the team has a lot of ideas scattered all over the whiteboard.

To make sense of all the ideas, the team decides to use the Categorize feature in Copilot. With this feature, they can automatically group similar ideas together and categorize them under descriptive headings. This makes it easier for the team to review the ideas and decide which ones to pursue further.

On the brainstorming whiteboard, the lead designer completes the following steps:

  1. Select the Copilot button next to the Whiteboard toolbar.

  2. In the Copilot menu, select Categorize.

    1. Copilot automatically selects all the sticky notes in view on the whiteboard.

  3. Select Categorize to begin the categorization process.

    1. Copilot organizes all the ideas into categories with headers.

  4. Select Regenerate to see a different way to organize the ideas.

    1. Copilot recategorizes the sticky notes.

  5. Select Keep it to choose Copilot’s suggested categories.

The Categorize feature in Copilot in Whiteboard helps the team to organize their ideas and make their brainstorming session more productive. The design team can now spend more time on making their ideas a reality and less time on organizational tasks.
