Symptoms

When an intermediate document (iDOC) is sent from Microsoft BizTalk Server to SAP through the .NET Connector (NCo), you may notice that the iDOC segment hierarchy is missing, and data is misaligned when it is received in SAP. Additionally, you may notice that the iDOC that is received in SAP contains an error message that resembles the following:

Resolution

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative updates for BizTalk Server:

        Cumulative Update 7 for BizTalk Server 2013 R2

        Cumulative Update 5 for BizTalk Adapter Pack 2013

        Cumulative Update 3 for BizTalk Server 2016

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
