If you see any services with alerts, expand the service, scroll down to Notifications, and sign in to receive a message when the service is up and running again.

Auto SR can be turned on directly from Windows notifications when Game Bar itself is not installed or its notifications are disabled. The first time you launch a supported game, you'll see a Use Auto SR opt-in notification.

Turning off notifications you do not need can reduce interruptions and provide small performance improvements. Turn off notifications for the apps you do not need.

Website notifications appear in the lower right corner of your screen and are also displayed in the notification center. When notifications are turned on for a website, they will still appear even if Microsoft Edge is closed.

After October 14, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates from Windows Update, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 10. Your PC will still work, but we recommend moving to Windows 11.
