Difficulty reactivating Skype Credit when using Skype Desktop app.
If you are attempting to reactivate your Skype credit from the Skype desktop app and are encountering difficulties adding a new debit/credit card as a payment method, the current workaround is as follows:-
Ensure you are signed into your Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/account.

Initiate the reactivation process by accessing your Skype profile via the Web browser.

Once this has been completed, you should be able to add a new payment method and reactivate your Skype credit without any issues.

Skype for Linux stops updating if previously installed using the .deb package.

Skype requires access to Screen recording in the Mac System Preferences to share your screen during a call in Skype on macOS Catalina.
