Symptoms
Under certain circumstances, the SNABASE service stops, and you receive an "Access Violation" error message. Additionally, many event ID 705 "Access denied on client-server or Distributed Link Service connection request" messages are logged in the Application event log.
Resolution
The fix that resolves this problem is included in the following cumulative updates for Host Integration Server:
