Symptoms
The People Pane does not display items in Microsoft Outlook 2010 Social Connector when you enable the Use Cached Exchange Mode setting through Group Policy on your Outlook account.
Note You need to restart your computer after you enable the Use Cached Exchange Mode setting through Group Policy.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, apply the following update:

Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
