The Baseline0-10 Remaining Cumulative Work fields contain the remaining amount of time scheduled for all resources assigned to tasks, when the baseline was set.

There are three categories of Remaining Cumulative Work fields.

Data Type    Duration

Baseline0-10 Remaining Cumulative Work (task-timephased field)

Entry Type    Calculated

How Calculated    As soon as you save a baseline, the task's timephased remaining cumulative work at that point in time is copied into the Baseline Remaining Cumulative Work field for the task. The Baseline Remaining Cumulative Work field that is used (Baseline Remaining Cumulative Work, Baseline1 Remaining Cumulative Work, Baseline2 Remaining Cumulative Work, and so on) depends on which baseline was saved (Baseline, Baseline 1, Baseline 2, and so on).

Best Uses    Add one of the Baseline0-10 Remaining Cumulative Work fields to the timephased portion of the Task Usage view when you've saved more than one baseline and you want to compare baseline remaining cumulative work amounts with current timephased remaining cumulative work for tasks over time. You can also use multiple baselines to compare baseline values saved at different points in the project.

Example    At the start of your project two months ago, you saved a project baseline. A month ago, the scope of your project changed, and you saved a second baseline as Baseline 1. Since then, you've made further adjustments and have saved a third baseline as Baseline 2. You now want to compare and analyze the three sets of baseline remaining cumulative work values for your tasks. You add the Baseline Work, Baseline1 Work, and Baseline2 Work fields to the Task Usage view.

Remarks    The Baseline Remaining Cumulative Work field is blank until you set a baseline for the project. You can set a baseline on the Project tab. This copies the current value for the Remaining Cumulative Work field into the corresponding Baseline Remaining Cumulative Work field.

Baseline0-10 Remaining Cumulative Work (resource-timephased field)

Entry Type    Calculated

How Calculated    As soon as you save a baseline, the resource's timephased remaining cumulative work at that point in time is copied into the Baseline Remaining Cumulative Work field for the resource.

Best Uses    Add one of the Baseline0-10 Remaining Cumulative Work fields to the timephased portion of the Resource Usage view when you've saved more than one baseline and you want to compare baseline remaining cumulative work amounts with current timephased remaining cumulative work for resources over time.

You now want to compare and analyze the three sets of baseline remaining cumulative work values for your resources.

Baseline0-10 Remaining Cumulative Work (assignment-timephased field)

Entry Type    Calculated

How Calculated    As soon as you save a baseline, the assignment’s timephased remaining cumulative work at that point in time is copied into the Baseline Remaining Cumulative Work field for the assignment.

Best Uses    Add one of the Baseline0-10 Remaining Cumulative Work fields to the timephased portion of the Task Usage or Resource Usage views when you've saved more than one baseline and you want to compare baseline remaining cumulative work amounts with timephased remaining cumulative work for assignments over time. You can also use multiple baselines to compare baseline values saved at different points in the project.

Example    At the start of your project two months ago, you saved a project baseline. A month ago, your project underwent a scope change, and you saved a second baseline as Baseline 1. Since then, you've made further adjustments, and have saved a third baseline as Baseline 2. You now want to compare and analyze the three sets of baseline timephased work values for your assignments.
