The Hyperlink field shows the title or explanatory text for a hyperlink associated with a task, resource, or assignment. This text appears when you rest the pointer on the hyperlink indicator in the Indicators field.

Best Uses Add the Hyperlink field to a task sheet when you want to display, filter, or edit the display text for Web sites associated with tasks.
Example Many tasks in your project are assigned to outside consulting companies and service bureaus that have Web sites. You add the Hyperlink field to the Task Sheet view to see the hyperlink name (for example, "Consultant Web site" or "Printshop home page") for these outside companies.
Remarks You can add or edit hyperlink text in the Insert Hyperlink dialog box.
