Symptoms
Assume that you process a smmSalesReports project for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. When you preview the SalesVsTargetRC report in the project, you receive the following error message in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010:

Failed to set parameter AX_CompanyName.
Cause
This problem occurs because the ReportRuntimeBacking.ExecuteDataSet method does not achieve the corressponding ParameterDescription object by using a related ParameterDefinition object.
